Report on the School year Opening Ceremony of the Central-European Crime Prevention Institute 29<sup>th</sup> September 2006, Budapest / Hungary

The Central-European Crime Prevention Institute and Academy organised its School year Opening Ceremony on the 29th September 2006 at the Assembly Hall of the Budapest Fire Department.

On this occasion Prof. George POPPER - President of IBSSA, Lieutenant General and Hungarian Grand Prior of the "Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories" awarded the following high-ranking personalities with the IBSSA Medal of Merit - Golden level:

  • Sir Dr. h.c. Béla DANIELISZ, KCM - President of the General Assembly of Budapest
  • Dr. Péter BENDE - Brigadier of the Fire Department
  • General Andrei P. KALININ - Chairman of the Executive Committee of International Sport Federationfor people doing fire fighting and rescue operations

IBSSA Honorary Membership diploma and ID-card was handed over to:

  • Prof. Sz. A. VINOGRADOV - Academician, Vice-President of the Russian Security, Protection and LawEnforcement Academy
