High recognition for our Country Representative in Mexico

“Seguridad en América” (Security in America – SEA) is a bi-monthly magazine – made in Mexico for all Latin America – that for 16 years has informed the security industry about new trends, technologies, products, services and security events. SEA has a circulation of 25 thousand bi-monthly copies distributed in more than 15 countries, such as Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Bolivia and others.

When the editorial staff of the magazine saw that the 100th edition was approaching, they were enthusiastic about the idea of doing something special for this celebration, so the following idea came up: to honour the 100 most influential Private Security people in Mexico.

In order to select the 100 most influential professionals in Mexican security – which was a difficult task – the magazine considered it pertinent to form a Committee of Notables that, as common denominator, has a successful trajectory and an impeccable reputation.

Mr. Ivan IVANOVICH – Country Representative of IBSSA for Mexico was selected as one of them as CEO of AGS Group. Ivan has got involved in security and protection businesses since 1991 in former Yugoslavia – working in protection and bodyguard training and also executive protection details in many high risk operations. Since 2000 he has been living in Mexico doing Executive Protection training for many national and international companies. In 2004 Ivan founded AGS Group, which is specialized in Executive Security.

Our representative contributed to the Mexican Security in transformation of the Paradigma of executive security from reactive model – based on firearms, martial arts etc. to modern model – based on prevention, threat avoidance, protective invisibility and unarmed executive security. Mr. Ivanovich promoted and reinforced the idea that firearms and reaction are not the most important tools in executive security.

Congratulations for this high recognition!
