The second turn of the Preparating and Qualifying Competition for the IBSSA Bodyguard World Championships was organised in Sopron between 03.31.-04.02.2006. The competitors arrived from six different countries and they had to solve a special team-competition task.

They got basic information and a bomb searching work on the first station. The next was the "trying of the competitor's hand to hand fight knowledge and experience". Here they had to show the different grasps against armed attacks. On the third station were introduced the antiterrorist driving practice. On the fourth station the competitors had to fulfil a sanitary test. After the test they took participate on a five-kilometre long physic trial test of strength. Here they had to carry the injured VIP two km long up the mountain. As they reached the goal the group had to fulfil together a test in order to show their theoretical knowledge.

The following groups were the winners:

First place winner: The group of Security Patent
Second place winner: The group of Exploratories
Third place winner: The group of Steely Team

The group of the girls named Trust Angels got the special price of the competition.

The preparating and qualifying competitions playing an important part for the world championship itself, because it is very important that only those experts will take part at the final "fight", who really have the necessary knowledge and skill and are fit for the challenges in St. Pölten / Austria and Sopron / Hungary, where the Bodyguard World Championship will be held at the end of October 2006.
