On the 18th May 2006 dr. Joseph POLYÁK - Honorary Founding Member of IBSSA, 8. Dan Karate and Budo Master was rewarded with a plaque granted by the Hungarian Government Guards.

Dr. Joseph POLYÁK received this high recognition for "his constant cooperation and supporting work toward the Hungarian Government Guards and its predecessors in title". The plaque was handed over to Shihan Polyák by the Commander of the Hungarian Government Guards - Mr. Ferenc SZABÓ, police major-general.

After the official part of the ceremony the present high-ranking personalities, colleagues, friends and other guests attended the Gala banquet at the "FORTUNA" Restaurant in Kiskőrös.
