As last year the IBSSA Education & Qualification Department announced, we started a prearranged system that each year the SEC-tember will have a specially designed professional concept to highlight during the training program.
The main subject of this 5
th SEC-tember was the vehicle for the security personnel. We ran a special training program in which we dealt with the car from the eye of the bodyguard and security agent, we run theoretical as well as practical exercises, Master classes within the frame of the following subjects:
- Combat driving, escorting by car
- Car security check-up
- Shooting, Firearms techniques and safe use
- Escorting / Close Protection tactics (individual and team)
- Krav Maga / Self defence
- Basic Bomb-related studies
- First aid and Emergency rescue
- VIP Protection with practical shooting / special exercises under professional supervision and guidance of a psychologist / at the Ministry of Interior – International Training Centre
The Education & Qualification Department announced the coming three years programs for the SEC-tember projects:
2007 – Security inside the buildings
2008 – Security outside space and around the building
2009 – Full security system in mass public event.
From the 5
th SEC-tember we enabled the Senior Candidates of the training course to receive International Qualifications of IBSSA, depend on the recommendation of the Master Teachers Team of the course.
This year we introduced an upgraded system for testing the candidates for Instructors qualification. The candidates were tested in front of the Master Teachers Team:

After the Instructors’ qualification the official Closing Ceremony of the event took place at the PETNEHÁZY COUNTRY CLUB. Prof. George POPPER – President of IBSSA and Dr. Rony KLUGER (ISR) – General Secretary of IBSSA handed over the IBSSA Certificates of Participation to the attendees of the training course. The IBSSA Master Teachers’ Team also congratulated all participants.

According to the Education & Qualification Department decisions from next year on we will run two separate courses of IBSSA, Saturday to Tuesday SEC-tember for new candidates (first time participating) and from Tuesday to saturday Seniors (SEC-tember experienced candidates). The two courses will have a very different training program to make sure correct professional growth to all candidates.
At last it was also announced that the forthcoming Congress of IBSSA will be organised in October 2007 in Belgrade / SERBIA.
