Report on the Crystal Ball

The Crystal Ball was organised under the high patronage of the Romanian Royal family and in presence of His Grace Count Sir George POPPER, KGC, Lieutenant General - President of IBSSA and Her Excellency Countess Lady Anna POPPER, GCDM.

Sir András Károly NAGY, Envoy at Large, Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs took also part at the event.

The main organiser was Sir Alexandru Tiberiu DEKANY from Concordia Foundation. The Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories handed over a donation to the Arad County Hospital, HIV Section, and also to the Association of HIV Infected Children, in total amount of 4,000 Euro.
The donation was handed over by Sir Dr. Constantin BUZATU, Bailiff of Romania, Chairman of IBSSA Executive Committee, and Country Representative of IBSSA for Romania.

Sir George POPPER received a distinction for his personal and for the Order contribution to the alleviation of the sufferance of some unfavourised people and for supporting talents. Sir Muresan Stefan and Lady Lizica Mihut, the Rector of Aurel Vlaicu University also attended the ball and handed over prizes.

During the dinner party, which ended the event, Sir George Popper and Lady Anna Popper had a conversation with His Majesty King Mihai and Her Majesty Queen Ana.

Sir Alexandru Tiberiu DEKANY received the title of SENATOR, member of the European Commerce Chamber Board, as recognition of his contribution to the success of the Crystal Ball. The distinction was handed over by His Serene Highness Maximilian, Price of Heidendorf - Austria, President of the European Chamber of Commerce.

The event offered to the needy, but also to the talented, prizes in amount of more than 100,000 Euro, being considered the most elegant and also philanthropic ball organised in Arad.
