1,The general situation and development of IBSSA was discussed during this meeting. It was agreed that the website on the Internet and the enlarged IBSSA magazine in Sportivo are realistic reflecting the very colourful and serious activities of IBSSA. 2,The Board discussed the preparations of the 2nd IBSSA World Martial Arts Championships and Festival and unanimously adopted the Minutes of the 2nd International Organizing Committee meeting. 3,It was agreed that if Russian organizers will fulfil the necessary conditions then the 3rd IBSSA World Martial Arts Championships and Festival could be held in 2003 summertime in Moscow / Russia. 4,The 4th IBSSA World Martial Arts Championships and Festival will be organized probably at December 2003 in Budapest / Hungary. 5,The Board also agreed that IBSSA International qualification of security companies is starting now. 6,The Board of Directors adopted the proposal of Mr. Aldo TARRICONE from Italy and Mr. Bogdan VUKOSAVLJEVIC from Slovenia that some IBSSA member companies will create an international cooperation on business basis and for that they will establish "Global Security Group". "GSG" will only accept members who are qualified IBSSA member companies. IBSSA will recognise this new multinational company group. 7,It was agreed that Prof. George POPPER and Prof. Giacomo S. BERTOLETTI must represent IBSSA in the coming WKC event in Novi Sad / Yugoslavia. 8,The Board agreed that Dr. Marko NICOVIC (YUG) - Vice President of IBSSA should represent the Association at the 43rd International Drug Conference in Orlando / Florida between 12 - 18 October 2002. Mr. J. L. MACZKO (CAN) - Chairman of Narcotics Policy Department of IBSSA, Dr. Miki VARGA (HUN) - Member of Education and Qualification Department of IBSSA, Mr. Stephen CHEE (SIN) - Country Representative of IBSSA for Singapore and Dr. Alex HEVESI (AUT) - Chairman of the Executive Committee of IBSSA and Country Representative of IBSSA for Austria will be there as well to represent IBSSA. 9,The I. "SEC-tember" was a great success with Instructors from IBSSA, the Police, FBI Academy and with participants from Hungary, Italy, Slovenia, United Kingdom and Romania. The Board agreed that from now on every year in September this event would be held in Hungary. Thematic and timetable will be set by IBSSA Education and Qualification Department and the organisation is charged by IBSSA Headquarters, coordinated by Ms. Erika MACSĂRI. 10,The 2nd Special Award "For heroic rescue operations" was handed over by the Executive President to Dr. Levente GYENES - International Coordinator of IBSSA for Europe and Country Representative of IBSSA for Hungary. Congratulations for the successful rescue work. 11,It was agreed that IBSSA would participate in a cooperation with IBA and PRO-DEO concerning education and high degrees in the security field, Martial Arts and some other areas. Draft agreements will be elaborated by Dr. Rony KLUGER. The agreements will be signed by the parties in Riga / Latvia next November. 12,The Board of Directors discussed the cooperation with "The Federation of Autonomous Priories of the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta" and it was agreed that the Executive President of IBSSA must discuss the future, a more fruitful cooperation with the highest leaders of the Federation before the next conferring ceremony. 13,February 2003 an Open Board meeting and a training course with diving should be organised in Hurghada / Egypt. 14,The next Board of Directors and Executive Committee meeting will be held at Riga / Latvia between 14 - 19 November 2002. 8th October 2002, Budapest IBSSA HQ
