1,Dr. Eriks GRINBERGS reported about all preparations in Latvia. He confirmed that all scheduled events and side-events would be held. All necessary halls and rooms, hotel capacity, etc. are reserved and other necessary conditions will be settled. The scheduled ceremony of Knight of Malta will be held. 2,Dr. GRINBERGS underlined that probably it will be necessary to rent some tatamis and other in Latvia missing equipments from neighbour countries and probably to print diplomas and other items in Hungary or Italy but of course related expenses will be covered by the Latvian Organizing Committee. It was confirmed that if necessary this support will be given but the order must be placed in time. 3,It was agreed that in case of too many competitors the day 17th November (Sunday) would be reserve and the kick box championships may be held. 4,Dr. GRINBERGS informed that may be the HQ Hotel will be changed, it was agreed that information is needed within 3 days as many invitations were sent out already and during the coming weekend in Novi Sad there will be the WKC Championships held. It will be necessary to distribute the final program and information. 5,Prof. BERTOLETTI gave information about the IAKSA Championships held in Italy, where he invited all teams to Riga and prepared the kickboxing event in Riga. He agreed with Dr. Ennio FALSONI - President of WAKO to be present and lead the event. 6,The president and general secretary also reported the efforts they did and that many martial arts and karate federation were already informed about the forthcoming event. It was agreed it would be still necessary to send information. 7,It was also confirmed that there would be a good participation from Italy, Israel, Hungary and Yugoslavia. Of course high participation is foreseen from Baltic republics and ex soviet states. 8,Travel possibilities to Riga and protocol questions were discussed during a separate meeting between Sir Eriks GRINBERGS and Dr. Anna POPPER. 9,It was agreed that Dr. Rony KLUGER would be in charge to supervise all technical questions related the championships. Professor BERTOLETTI will supervise and coordinate all seminars and demonstrations. Executive President Prof. George POPPER will be in charge for protocol and general organisation of the events. 10,It was agreed that Dr. Eriks GRINBERGS would prepare within 5 days a separate draft program for the seminars and another one for the scheduled demonstrations.
