Report on the Special IBA Award Ceremony

During the Special Training seminar of Karate Do conducted by Prof. Rony KLUGER in Budapest, and celebrating the opening of the new European Budo Centre – the BUTOKUGAN directed by Shihan Attila MISKOLCZI, the IBA leadership decided to promote Shihan István KELEMEN, the "father" of the Hungarian Ju Jitsu, to he rank of 8th Dan Ju Jitsu in a special celebration held in BUTOKUGAN.














The ceremony was organised and presented by Prof. George POPPER – President of IBSSA, Executive President of IBA and Prof. Rony KLUGER – Rector of IBA. The following high-ranking officials also honoured the event with their presence:
  • Shihan József POLYÁK
  • Sir István BÁNÓ












All leaders of the Hungarian Budo community and the local press attended the beautiful event.

Mr. Alexander Zisha – active member of IBSSA was honoured with the IBSSA Medal of Merit – Golden level for his outstanding work and contributions toward our association.

Shihan KELEMEN also promoted to the position of IBA and IBSSA ISF Ju Jitsu sections' International Head Master.

At the ceremony IBA contributed to its qualified members the new IBA ID card. Hearty congratulation to everyone!!!
