IBSSA – ISF President, Prof. Rony Kluger ran a serial of seminars in South Africa

After some preparations and coordination with various Martial Arts organisations IBSSA - ISF President Prof. Rony KLUGER arrived at Johannesburg Intl' airport to start a marathon seminar serial in SA.
The first seminar was held in Johannesburg with cooperation of the Goju Karate Association with two young and very talented teachers Mr. Mario SEQUEIRA and Mr. Che JAGGER and with the leadership of Shihan Braam PEENS. Over 100 participants and a large team of Instructors attended the seminar. Beside this program Prof. Kluger had some official meetings with the local sport leaders in order to establish and regulate IBSSA – ISF activities in South Africa.
During the visit Prof. Kluger met some Security company leaders and Police officers and dealt with them the local security profile. It is a fact that South Africa in general and Johannesburg area in special facing some very heavy security issues that affecting all facets of life.
From Johannesburg Prof. Rony KLUGER travelled to the beautiful city of George on the Garden Rout. The Training seminar in George was a very well organised one with over 150 participants under the fine leadership of Master Jannie LEGRANGE. This side of South Africa is characterised by beautiful nature, ocean shore and lovely weather. The seminar contained classical Martial Arts, some theory on the Art of Teaching and some practical Self Defence.
The last port in the South African trip was the wonderful Cape Town and meeting old friends from the local Karatedo community. The training conducted in the well-known school of Grand Master Denis St. John THOMSON, who was the Karatedo Teacher of Prof. Kluger in the early 70’s during his two years stay in SA.
It seems that ISF President’s visit in South Africa resulted a new wave of activities of IBSSA in this wonderful part of the world.
