IBSSA President's visit in Hanover / GERMANY World Juniors & Children World Cup of WKC 20th-22nd October 2006

On the occasion of the 5th Junior World Championships and World Cup for Children, and according to the cooperation between IBSSA–ISF and WKC, Prof. George POPPER – President of IBSSA was invited to attend the event as honorary guest.



The Championships was a great success with the participation of over 1000 competitors of 42 teams from 35 countries of 4 continents.

During the event Prof. George Popper – President of IBSSA handed over the IBSSA Medal of Merit – Golden level to the following officials of IBSSA for their significant activities in the field of cooperation between WKC and IBSSA:
Dr. Fritz WENDLAND – Founding President of WKC and Honorary Founding member of IBSSA
Sir Dr. Marko NICOVIC – President of WKC and 1st Vice President of IBSSA
