Professional cooperation among IBSSA, Femeraid Slovakia, and the Slovakian Police

Mr. Roman Ozvold – chief executive officer of “TIPOS”, the Slovakian gambling plc. – was murdered in Slovakia. His disappearance was observed early, but neither he nor his car was found for days.

Upon request of the family – with the assistance of the Slovakian Section of IBSSA – the disaster recovery unit, the Femeraid Slovakia (Komplexná Centralna Zachranná Sluze Slovenská Gabčíkovo / Bős) also joined to the search with the leadership of General Ján Culka – President of Femeraid Slovakia and Chairman of the Rescue Coordinating Department of IBSSA.

The staff of the unit found the car, and then the police expected armed murder based on clues found in the car. After this the IBSSA and the Femeraid Slovakia – as a result of a joint and very systematic research – found the body hidden in the forest. Thus, by the clues and the summarised evidences the police identified and has already caught the suspected murderer, who was taken into custody.

This sorrowful case is a good example of the effective cooperation of the police, the disaster recovery unit and the IBSSA.
