Letter of Thanks to our Regional Representative in the USA

The attached Letter of Thanks is a great honour for us all, which was sent to Karl DelaGuerra – Regional Representative of IBSSA for North and South Carolina, Knight of Sword and Silence – by Congresswoman Sue Myrick, member of the U.S. House of Representatives, who is currently in her ninth term representing North Carolina's 9th district.

Mrs. Myrick serves as Chairman or Vice Chairman in numerous committees of the U.S. House of Representatives, just to mention some of them:

Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
The Intelligence Committee has jurisdiction over the Intelligence community, including intelligence-related activities of the CIA, Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), the National Security Agency, and other agencies of the Department of Defence (DOD), and the Departments of State, Justice, and Treasury. Chairman of the Subcommittee on Terrorism, HUMINT (Human Intelligence), Analysis, and Counter Intelligence
Vice Chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee
It enjoys the broadest legislative responsibility of any House committee, including public health, telecommunications, energy, consumer protection, food and drug safety, air quality, environmental health, and interstate and foreign commerce.
Member of the Health Subcommittee

She came to Congress in 1995 after serving on the Charlotte City Council and serving two terms as mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina, the state's largest city. Mrs. Sue Myrick remains the first and only female mayor in Charlotte history.
