Patronising Membership

• Patronising Membership is open for Individuals based on bilateral agreements.
• One off registration fee for Patronising Membership: 50-EUR€ / person
• Patronising Member has a conference right.
• Patronising Member has no vote.

Associated Membership

• Associated Membership is open for other organisations based on bilateral agreements.
• Associated Organisation is entitled to register 2 people free of charge, any further person shall pay one off 50-EUR€ / person registration fee.
• Associated Organisation has a conference right.
• Associated Organisation has no vote.

IBSSA Membership for Corporations

The President or General Manager of the Corporation has to sign a "Letter of Intent" or an "Application for Membership", which has to be written in one of the official languages of the Association English or French

A short summary of the Corporation and a copy of the official registration of the Corporation should be enclosed.

Corporate Member is entitled to register 12 people, any further person shall only pay 100 - EUR€ Membership fee and one off registration fee 50 - EUR€.

• The annual Corporate Membership fee: 2000 - EUR€ / corporation / year
• One off registration fee for Corporate Membership: 200 - EUR€ / corporation
• Renewal of membership is on a yearly base.
• Corporate Member has a conference right.
• Corporate Member has 10 votes maximum

IBSSA Membership for Individuals

Applicant should send the enclosed application form to the headquarters or any IBSSA representative. Bodyguards should enclose a photocopy of their international or national bodyguard license or any previous education. Everyone has to send a short CV and color photo of themselves.

After IBSSA receives all necessary documentation and fees it takes about a month to process the application and another month to receive the agreement of the Board on the membership

• The annual Individual Membership fee: 200 - EUR€ / person / year
• One off registration fee for Individual Membership: 50 - EUR€ / person
• Renewal of membership is on a yearly base.
• Individual Member has a conference right.
• Individual Member has a vote.

Supporting Membership

Supporting Membership is for companies and individuals they are not directly involved in the security profession. Supporting members pay full registration fee but only 50% of membership fee. Supporting members will receive all publications, documents, IDs. Supporting members have the right to participate at all events, but they have no voting right at the Congress

• The annual Supporting Corporate Membership fee: 1000 - EUR€ / corporation / year
• One off registration fee for Supporting Corporate Membership: 200 - EUR€ / corporation
• Renewal of membership is on a yearly base.
• Supporting Corporate Member has a conference right.
• Supporting Corporate Member has no vote.
• Supporting Corporate Member is entitled to register 10 people.

• The annual Supporting Individual Membership fee: 100 - EUR€ / person / year
• One off registration fee for Supporting Individual Membership: 50 - EUR€ / person
• Renewal of membership is on a yearly base.
• Supporting Individual Member has a conference right.
• Supporting Individual Member has no vote.

IBSSA International Sport Federation Membership types

IBSSA International Sport Federation Membership for Instructors

Applicant should send the enclosed application form to the headquarters. Everyone has to send a short CV and colour photo of themselves.

After IBSSA receives all necessary documentation and fees it takes about a month to process the application and another month to receive the agreement of the Board on the membership

• The annual Instructor Membership fee: 200 - EUR€ / person / year
• One off registration fee for Instructor Membership: 50 - EUR€ / person
• Renewal of membership is on a yearly base.
• Instructor Member has a conference right.
• Instructor Member has a vote.

IBSSA International Sport Federation Membership for Clubs

Applicant should send the enclosed application form to the headquarters. Clubs can apply for membership if they have at least one full member in the Federation.

After IBSSA receives all necessary documentation and fees it takes about a month to process the application and another month to receive the agreement of the Board on the membership and prepare the diploma for the Club.

• The annual Club Membership fee: 100 - EUR€ / club / year
• Renewal of membership is on a yearly base.

IBSSA International Sport Federation Membership for Students

Applicant should send the enclosed application form to the headquarters. Everyone has to send a short CV and colour photo of themselves.

After IBSSA receives all necessary documentation and fees it takes about a month to process the application and another month to receive the agreement of the Board on the membership and prepare the Diploma, plastic ID-card and IBSSA ISF Passport for the applicant.

• The annual Student Membership fee: 25 - EUR€ / person / year
• Renewal of membership is on a yearly base for 10 - EUR€

Terms of payment

Membership fee payment concerns the calendar year. The term of membership begins at 1st of January of annual year and terminates at next year 31st of January.

New applications received in 3rd or 4th quarter of the annual year but not later than 31st of October shall only pay 50% of membership fee plus the whole amount of registration fee.

New applications received after 31st of October but not later than 31st of December shall pay the full membership and registration fee but the membership is current for the forthcoming year!

Payment of Membership fees

Everybody shall pay the membership fee without further notice not later than 31st of January of the annual year! Distribution of annual membership cards begins at 1st of January of the annual year if payment was received by the IBSSA, therefore it is highly recommended to pay the membership fee prior to that date!

• Late payments will result in surcharge.
• Payment received after January 31 but not later than 31st of March shall pay 10% surcharge.
• Payment received after 31st of March shall pay 20% surcharge.

The IBSSA will invoice of each payment upon request only. Invoice will be addressed to the Corporation or Individual data as is registered at the IBSSA.

Non-regular payment of membership fee will result in exclusion of membership, cancellation of positions and IBSSA recognition if any. These members are not entitled to benefit of any of IBSSA related services, use of IBSSA Logo or Trademark or any IBSSA references. Members will be excluded of the list of members without further notice after 2-year nonpayment of membership fee.

According to former decisions, all members holding any IBSSA position should pay membership fee in advance for a five-year period of time. These members shall transfer 600 EUR€ membership fee instead of 1000 EUR€.

Corporate, Individual, Supporting Corporate and Supporting Individual members can also pay 5-year membership fee in advance in order to receive 40% reduction of membership fee.

Replacement of lost IBSSA ID (card and holder) costs 50 - EUR€
