Report on the Official IBA Ceremony in the Netherlands between 3 – 5 March 2005

In a historic palace and with all glamour of an academic event the Netherlands started a new era of education and other activities within the frame of the International Budo Academy (IBA) – the official Educational Institute partner of IBSSA.

This was a grand opening of all three active faculties, when the Faculty of Budo awarded two Ph.D. Degrees, the Security Science Faculty awarded two M.A. Degrees and our new Alternative Medicine Faculty awarded the first Ph.D. Degree in the Netherlands. The ceremony was highlighted by the presence of Prof. Rony KLUGER (ISR) – Rector of International Budo Academy (IBA),

Prof. Eric Van de WALL (NED) – Dean of the Alternative Medicine Faculty in the Netherlands, and of course our dear host Dr. Frank PHILIPOOM (NED) – Chairman of IBA Chamber in the Netherlands, General Secretary of IBSSA - ISF. The event was a great success and well attended by all local members.

I would like to congratulate Dr. Philipoom and Prof. Van de Wall for their great ability in organisation and the high level of true cooperation. No question that we started a very special team work with our dear friends and colleagues in the Netherlands. CONGRATULATIONS!
