IBSSA President visits Serbia and Montenegro

On the 6th - 7th October Prof. George POPPER – President of IBSSA visited Serbia and Montenegro. The IBSSA President met with Dr. Milovan LAKUSIC and Mr. Jagos DJUROVIC, the leaders of M-PROTECT company in their new HQ building in Beograd.

Dr. Lakusic introduced his company, their services on the field of security and some of his instructors and active workers.

M-PROTECT was on the 8th October starting its second 3-month course for "SECURITY OFFICER". The program is prepared very professionally with the involvement of the top master teachers from IBSSA and Serbia.

Dr. Lakusic was very proud as he succeeded to sign contracts and received the necessary approvals for these kind of trainings, which are held in the Advanced Police Training Centre “OSCE”, by using the excellent conditions of the school of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia and Montenegro. IBSSA president visited the school and was welcomed by its president and some high police instructors.

During a business lunch with Prof. Dr. Dragan SIMEUNOVIC – chief of expert team of the Ministry of Justice in Serbia – one of the top security experts on terrorism in the country and teacher of the course – the IBSSA president offered honorary membership for Dr. Simeunovic and further cooperation was discussed.

After the 2 days program IBSSA president accompanied by Dr. Lakusic and Mr. Djurovic visited Novi Sad, where M- PROTECT representatives were introduced and a brief meeting was held with Dr. Marko NICOVIC – IBSSA 1st Vice President, newly elected president of World Karate Confederation (WKC), Dr. Rony KLUGER – IBSSA General Secretary, Dr. Fritz WENDLAND – Honorary Founding member and Mr. Joe MIRZA – Executive President of IBSSA ISF.
