Report on the IBSSA Preparatory Meeting of the 7th Congress (Romania 9-13 February 2001)

During the event a meeting was organized with IBSSA members of Romania and with the representative of IBSSA Moldavia. During the visit IBSSA leaders met with the Chief of the Romanian Police, Advisor of the President of Romania, members of the Parliament and other VIPs.

The purpose of the visit was to finalize the next Congress preparations. However Mr. MOISESCU and his team prepared high level conditions in Predeal which is probably the most beautiful holiday resort in Romania - due to its 2 hours distance from Bucharest - the Board decided that the 7th IBSSA Congress 25-30 April 2001 will be held in Bucharest.

The HQ hotel will be

• Best Western Parc Hotel.

The delegation controlled all conditions and it is foreseen that a very high level event will be held. It was decided that before 25th February all necessary information must be published on the Internet.

The final program of the Congress – the 1st IBSSA Bodyguard Demonstration World Championships & Open Individual Shooting and Self Defense Championships, and other side events, like Security Exhibition, Press Conference, different meetings, visits, etc. were agreed.
