On the occasion of the forthcoming
1003rd Anniversary of the State foundation of Hungary a nomination ceremony
of the Hungarian Civil Guard took place in the Ministry of Defence Officers
Club- Queen Elisabeth Restaurant in Budapest on the 16th August 2003.
Major-general Dr. László CSEREKLEI - Deputy commander
of the Hungarian Civil Guard, Vice President of the Hungarian Fireguard
Association and Honorary Member of IBSSA, according to the mutual cooperation
between the Hungarian Section of IBSSA and the Hungarian Civil Guard,
promoted the following people to

During the nomination ceremony General András DOHÁNY -
Commander of the Hungarian Civil Guard promoted and granted General Dr.
László CSEREKLEI - Deputy commander of the Hungarian Civil
Guard with the State Sword of the International Knightly Order of St.
George.
The following people were awarded the "Grand Cross" of the
International Knightly Order of St. George. The Order was founded in
1326 by Robert Charles (Károly Róbert) and it was the first
non-ecclesiastic established Knight Order in Europe.

As many IBSSA officials and high-ranking leaders of other national and
international organisations attended this event Prof. George POPPER,
GCKM (HUN) – Executive President of IBSSA took the opportunity
to present two important moments
- Mr. István BÁNÓ (HUN), who wrote his Ph.D. thesis
in Security and Protection Sciences - Crime Prevention, could not participate
at the Doctoral Ceremony of "Pro Deo" University, which was
organised on the 9th August 2003 in Budapest / HUNGARY. During this
nomination ceremony Prof. George POPPER, GCKM (HUN) - Representative
of the Federation of Autonomous Priories of the Sovereign Order of
Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Prof. Giacomo Spartaco BERTOLETTI,
KCM (ITA) - 1st Vice President of IBSSA and Representative of PRO-DEO
University, Dr. Levente GYENES, KCM (HUN) - International Coordinator
of IBSSA for Europe and Dr. László CSEREKLEI - Honorary
Member of IBSSA conferred Mr. István BÁNÓ officially
to Doctoral Degree and handed over the Diploma to him.
- Mr. László SZABÓ (HUN) - Commander of the Valuation
Office - Police was handed over publicly the IBSSA Membership Certificate
and the ID-card by Prof. George POPPER, GCKM (HUN) - Executive President
of IBSSA, Dr. József POLYÁK (AUS) - Honorary Founding
Member of IBSSA, Prof. Giacomo Spartaco BERTOLETTI, KCM (ITA) - 1st
Vice President of IBSSA and Dr. Levente GYENES, KCM (HUN) - International
Coordinator of IBSSA for Europe.
Finally Dr. Semir Sabih Khelil Al-Dulaimi Sheikh, who was also present
at the nomination ceremony and thereafter on the official reception,
handed over "Letter of Thanks" - as the acknowledgement of
the Independent Iraqi Government for the high level of work during the
guarding and transport of humanitarian aid for the Iraqi people - to
the following persons
