H.R.H. Prince Michael James Alexander STEWART COUNT OF ALBANY (SCO) visited Budapest 30th March - 4th April 2004 On the occasion of the Budapest Spring Festival H.R.H. Prince Michael James Alexander STEWART COUNT OF ALBANY (SCO) - Honorary President of IBSSA - who is also a well-known writer and journalist - visited Budapest for the invitation of the Budapest Tourism Office. His Royal Highness stayed at the stateroom of Grand Hotel Margitsziget, which was much to the delight of H.R.H. Prince Michael in consideration of the prominent fitness facility and famous thermal pools of the hotel. During this visit H.R.H. Prince Michael James Alexander STEWART COUNT OF ALBANY (SCO) - Honorary President of IBSSA and the Director of Grand Hotel Margitsziget signed the cooperation agreement between IBSSA and the Hotel and also IBSSA Diploma and Plaque were handed over officially to the Director of the Hotel. Among the excellent programs of the Spring Festival His Royal Highness enjoyed the most the following events:
Notwithstanding that H.R.H. Prince Michael James Alexander STEWART COUNT OF ALBANY visited Hungary the seventh time, he saw the Parliament and the Royal Crown the very first time. During the sightseeing in Budapest and Szentendre H.R.H. Prince Michael visited the "Exhibition of paintings" by Jim URQUHART (Scotland) in the Duna Gallery and also attended the interesting program of Moulin Rouge in Budapest. The show and spectacular program of Lázár Equestrian Park appealed to him, and His Royal Highness had almost every meal in different restaurants (Shakespeare, Gerbeaud, Spoon, etc.). During the week H.R.H. Prince Michael James Alexander STEWART COUNT OF ALBANY had also unofficial meetings with Dr. Péter KISS - Minister of Prime Minister’s Office, with the representatives of the Budapest Tourist Office and the leaders of different Knight Orders. On the programmes in Budapest His Royal Highness was accompanied by Prof. George POPPER, GCKM - President of IBSSA and Dr. Levente GYENES, GOKM - Mayor of the city Gyömro.
